Came here with family because we were told this place has really good won ton noodles. I couldn't have the won tons due to my shrimp allergy, so I went with the offal noodles. It's a bit different from what I was expecting, but it definitely was authentic. There were intentions, kidneys, stomachs, you name it. The broth tasted like offals lol. It wasn't bad. We also had the calamari, it was ok. Service was good and the food came out rather quick. I drive down this street a lot but never noticed it, so I'm glad I was able to try. It's definitely not bad. And the lemon tea is splendid :)

This place has become my go to place when I come to Monterey Park. One of my best friends from childhood introduced me here a few years ago and I keep coming back. Even if I come alone, it's still a treat. Staff is friendly and serves is quick! Just something about comfort food is so yummy. And I'm not Chinese but LOVE the food!! I'll be back!!

This is the first time I tried the steamed rice combo from this restaurant. The combo comes with a hot pot of rice and a bowl of soup for $15.99. The steamed rice tasted really good. It has chicken, spare ribs, and Chinese sausage. I also ordered a veggie dish, which completed the dinner. The server provides excellent service, and I will return to try other dishes.

The chicken wings were so good! Wonton soup warm and homey, you can add white pepper and chili oil to it yourself. Veggies also were perfectly cooked. Very reasonable prices!

You don't come here for ambiance, and you don't come here for service. Places like this you come for food. And the food did not disappoint. We ordered a lot of food the first time, wonton soup, liver porridge, jiajiang noodle, fried donut, steamed rice roll. Oh and dessert is the milk pudding! My mom and i both recognize how good everything is done here, Porridge is thick and liver is cooked perfectly - which is a very rare thing to achieve. Wonton is big, shrimp is crunchy with some fatty portion of pork in it. You get full eating just that. The only complain is the friend donut, which is a bit dense. Rice roll is soft yet chewy, the dough is made just right. Oh, their egg noodle is just so so good. Fine strands and have a good bite, never soggy. Sorry to those who doesn't read Chinese, that milk pudding was heavenly. I don't think its in the menu. We came back not too long after, even though we live a bit far - Arcadia, we would drive all the way here just to eat. And please, this is not a place for you to expect service and ambiance, you can go somewhere else for that. This is for those who loves authentic Chinese food, those who miss true hong kong wonton noodle culture.

I really like this place because all of the congee is a mixture of being flavorful yet bland. Bland meaning not sure salty which is a very good place for older people who are prone to high blood pressure. I came here with 3 other adults and 1 kid. We ordered 3 congee combos which each order came with a side dish (we got egg noodles) and a drink ($1 extra if it's a cold drink) for a total cost of $11.95. We also ordered a wonton noodle soup to share for $13.29. The noodles were very yummy especially with sriracha and the wonton noodle soup was very good as well. We all got pretty full and had quite a lot of leftovers. Price is good and food is good. Would come back again!

Not only do they have affordable Chinese breakfast combos specials they also have afternoon happy hour deals from 3-6pm! Went for lunch so just missed the combo deals... but food is still very affordable and tasty during regular hours. Congee is smooth and full of ingredients. Noodles in their chow fun have a good flavor from the wok hei. Their beef in their soup noodles needs more cooking time as the tendons were more on the chewy side. Stewed pork feet and peanuts came out bubbling hot with a thick sauce, a lot of food volume worth the price. Would probably come here again for the value! Recommend to order the hot milk tea as your drink, it has good tea flavor and they do refills but you have to flag down servers. Recommend for small parties 2-4 as the restaurant is not large at all.
